이시산은 상반된 속성을 가진 자연과 인공을 단일 개체에 공존, 융합하는 다양한 과정을 통해 두 관계에서 발생하는 상호작용을 탐구한다. 자연물을 상반된 속성의 재료인 스테인리스강과 병치하거나 자연물의 텍스쳐와 형태를 복제하고 유리섬유와 알루미늄 등의 인공의 재료들로 치환하여 자연과 인공이 만나는 다양한 지점을 모색한다.

-ABOUT
The artist explores the interactions that occur in two relationships through various experiments of coexisting and fusing nature and artificiality, which have opposing properties, into a single entity. He finds various points where nature and artificiality meet by juxtaposing natural objects with stainless steel, which has opposing properties, reproducing the texture and shape of natural objects, and replacing them with artificial materials such as glass fiber and aluminum.
