회화부터 조각, 설치 등 넓은 작업 스펙트럼을 가진 지니 서 작가는 연상을 통해 감정을 조형화한다. 특정 순간들의 기억과 그때 발견한 감정들을 토대로 작업하는 작가는 체험적 공간을 중요시하며, 이는 전시가 관람객들과 함께 존재해야 함을 뜻하는 동시에 그녀의 작품 의도가 관람객들에 의해 비로소 선명해짐을 보여준다.

- ABOUT
Working with various studio practices, including painting, sculpture, and installation, Jinnie Seo materializes emotions through the act of reminiscence. An artist who sources her works from her memories of specific moments and the emotions she had discovered at those points in time, Seo prioritizes creating experiential spaces, which highlight her belief that exhibitions must coexist with the visitors and demonstrate that the meaning of her works become fully coherent only when viewers are present.
