OKNP는 10월 29일부터 11월 22일까지 장-마리 해슬리(Jean-Marie Haessle, 1939–2024)의 개인전《PAINTINGS 1958–2024》를 선보인다.

프랑스 알자스의 광부에서 파리와 뉴욕 소호를 무대로 활동한 화가가 되기까지, 66년에 걸쳐 끊임없이 변화해 온 그의 예술적 여정을 조명한다.

해슬리는 현대미술의 다양한 흐름 속에서 기하학적 추상과 자유로운 붓질, 절제된 구조와 역동적인 색채를 넘나들며 자신만의 회화 세계를 구축해 왔다. 이번 전시는 1958년 초기 드로잉부터 2024년 후기 회화까지 서로 다른 시기의 작품을 통해, 평생 새로운 표현을 탐구하며 그림을 그려온 한 화가의 삶과 예술을 되돌아본다.

OKNP presents Jean-Marie Haessle: PAINTINGS 1958–2024, on view from October 29 to November 22, 2026.

The exhibition traces the 66-year artistic journey of Jean-Marie Haessle (1939–2024), from his early years as a miner in Alsace, France, to his life as a painter working in Paris and New York’s SoHo.

Throughout his career, Haessle continuously explored new forms of expression, moving between geometric abstraction and expressive brushwork, restrained compositions and vibrant colors. Bringing together works from his earliest drawings in 1958 to his final paintings in 2024, the exhibition reflects on the life and artistic evolution of a painter who devoted his life to the pursuit of painting.
