- 작가 소개
대학에서 조소를 전공한 김우진은 어린 시절 동물 사육사의 꿈을 바탕으로 플라스틱 의자 조각을 활용하여 말, 산양, 사슴 등 자신이 사육하고 싶은 다양한 동물의 형상을 만들고 있다. 작가는 작품을 구상하는 그 과정에서 단순히 동물의 외형적 유사함을 재현하고자 하는 것보다 작가 개인이 가지고 있는 동물의 인상을 기반으로 진행되는 정서적 재현에 집중한다.

- ABOUT
WooJin Kim majored sculpture at university and combined with a childhood dream of becoming an animal breeder, he/she creates sculptures of various animals such as horses, goats, and deer using pieces of plastic chairs. The artist, not only focuses on the externalities of such animals when designing their works, but also portrays the internal personalities and traits of the individual animals.
